It's all about the batteries. We're still in desperate need of a paradigm shift for energy storage.

Apple Maps - search is lacking. The maps and navigation are gorgeous, but I was seriously disappointed to find Waze's social layer absent.

Much improvement is needed before I switch from my trusty Waze.

Mortgage Hits Keep Coming, Wells Fargo Pays $175 To Settle Discriminatory Lending Case

A couple problems with this. First, I believe the penalties pale in comparison to the profits being made by these shady practices. Second, I don't see how these penalties are making their way to those who were harmed.

HP stock is tanking today due to lackluster sales. Any surprise? One expected benefit of IBM's sale of the PC division to Lenovo was that it would boost competition in that space, causing HP to take their eye off the ball in Services.

Further, HPs failed attempt to pivot into mobile with the now defunct WebOS (RIP Palm) has left them floundering.

Some very clear thinking on the patent system by the Federal judge who presided over the Apple-Motorola case.

And were sold by yet another company that doesn't really care whether you buy a ultrabook or a bigscreen TV today. I think the article ignores ASUS as being not a 'top vendor'. They clearly showed growth.
