A great space for kids to have fun. The first floor is a diner style eating area but the great play space upstairs is where the action is. An art room, a stage, a dj booth and an open dance/play space is worth the $2.50. They have a full menu and events that cost more but worth it as well. It's was truly a pleasant surprise for both my daughter and I. Our next trip there will be for movie night which they have every Friday. Call Friday morning to find out which movie they will feature that evening. Check it out!

This is more atmosphere and a place for my nephew to work off a sugar rush. I like the layout because there's plenty of room. The service is excellent - very attentive and that makes a huge difference when other stuff may be sub-par (like the food). I shouldn't really complain about the food since it's made for kids and not me. I would recommend this place for kids parties. And the front door is very cool, but I won't spoil the surprise. My nephew loved the front door.

We just had our daughter's first birthday at the Moxie Spot and it was perfection. Nat and his crew were fantastic and everyone had a wonderful time. I am an over the top kind of person and they accomodated every request with a smile. The staff was great with the kids, the food was great and the adults could even have beer or wine. The party guests left begging thier parents to come back soon. Nat is the best and we can't wait to go back. This is the best birthday spot hands down. Thanks Nat and thanks Moxie Spot, this perfectionist was impressed and thrilled with your work!

We just had our sons 1st birthday party at The Moxie Spot and it was simply perfect! Nat and his team put on a wonderful sing along, the space is perfect, the food is great and they have tons of toys for kids. Lots of room for little ones to crawl around. We are now going to start going to the sing along and story time on a regular basis..we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! You can't go wrong!

Regardless of the other reviews on here me and my wife went ahead and booked The Moxie Spot for our daughters first birthday party. I can honestly say that me, my wife, and guests enjoyed and loved the place. The food was enough to cover everyone, and the service was great. Nat and his team were attentive to all of our needs and was there at all times to make sure everything went well. There were activities for all children which ranged from 2 to 18. He has a Nintendo Wii, a foosball table, art and recreational section for the younger children. Everyone had fun. I did not once take notice to the complaints that people had about the place being dirty. If you are looking to have a wonderful dinner or some quality Penne A La Vodka then maybe you are better off going to the Olive Garden. On the other hand if you are looking for good food and for your kids to have a blast at the same time then this is the place for you. Me and my family definitely approve of this location and I know many of the people that came to our party will be future Moxie Spotters!!

This place is terrible! So what if it is "family-friendly". My friend and I went in there for lunch today with our babies, 9m and 14m respectively. First of all, the girl behind the counter couldn't be bothered to get off the phone to take my friend's order. Then, since we paid to use the play area upstairs, we had to lug our babies and their stuff along with drinks and utensils up a steep flight of steps. When we got to the top, we had to attempt to open the childproof gate with our full hands. There were 3 employees upstairs and not one of them bothered to come over and help us. Why don't they just have a drink station and utensils upstairs? Or, better yet, why don't they bring you drinks and utensils with your meal? Speaking of food, I saved the worse for last. Our food was barely edible. My friend had the turkey burger and it was pink inside! I had the meatloaf which arrived lukewarm and covered with sickly sweet bbq sauce which they don't mention on the menu. The accompanying mashed potatoes were obviously from a box and covered with a viscous film of too salty gravy. I can understand how some parents may like the place because of the playroom upstairs but it really is a waste of a good space and a good concept. They could do much, much better.
