My experience with this place was horrible. Before they moved to their new location they were stuck up, rude when it came to people of color ( i stuck around and watched how they treated diffrent people and and saw if you are white, your less likely to be followed in store and less likely to be given suspicious looks) and incredibly vague when it came to advice. Not everyone is a bike aficionado, please remember this when you make a customer feel like an idiot for mispronouncin general bike parts. the fact that they don't have general sings indicating "showroom" or kitchen (as one employee stated) is just asking for a customer unknowingly walking in the wrong room .not to meting the fact that every worker there had a different price for the same procedure for a bike, getting a derailier adjusted will run you any where from $15 to $35 depending on the person your talking to. All in all this place sucks, if you want a decent bike shop that will service your bike long after you take it there I suggest college street cycles damm friendly and always giving you the same price as last.

The only shop in New Haven that I trust for my bicycling needs. Great selection of bicycles in stock and more than happy to order all the peculiar odds and ends I want for my various bicycle projects.

I've been a commuter bicyclist for decades. My bike is precious to me. This is a great shop. They do quality work in a reasonable time, are good at diagnosis and prevention, and charge fairly. New Haven is fortunate to have this shop.

It was great to find a bike shop like this. Friendly fast and helpful. Our grandson was down from VT to visit and loves to ride his bike over any and all obstacles. We went to go for a ride on Sunday and put air in the tire. When we got to the trail the tube and tire had blown out due to a cut in the side wall of the tire. We had never found this shop before. We found street parking and walked in with the bike Immediately it was taken and worked on to get it fixed at a fair price. The owner was working on Sunday every one was friendly and our grandson was able to finish his visit riding the bike with a new tire and tube. Most importantly we did not dump the problem on our daughter to have to run around and deal with it at home. She is just going all the time as it is. For those not familiar with the place there is a parking garage around the corner if you do not find street parking out front. We have gone to another bike shop on the shoreline and found they do not have the same open friendly attitude toward any type of bike owner. We will be going here first and every time.
