I came here with my Boo Boo to fuel up for lunch before our walk to the High Line park. We were seated on a smaller table even though we had our jackets, back pack, and purse. It was pretty cramped but didn't complain about it. We just didn't order appetizers then. I ordered the marinated pork enchilada and Boo Boo got the burrito without guac and wanted the beans of the side. But, they exacted their revenge by charging us the side of beans. The food tasted good and they came out fast and hot. The horchata was not too sweet and didn't settle in the bottom like many bad rice milk does. Wish they also have tomatillo salsa. Too bad it's cash only. But, I'd come back to try the tacos and mole next time.

This is an authentic mexican restaurant, as real as it gets, don't expect fake happy smiles and a bubbly waitress, this is not tex mex food. Tacos are amazing, the mole is homemade...delicious, the horchata and juices are natural, remember that good home made food takes time to prepare, this isn't taco bell. Comparable to a few real authentic places in Chicago.

I've been here countless times during my work lunch hour. This place is legit and authentic. I always get the three tacos with the goat meat and fried pork skin. Tacos come with plenty of guac as well. They even have sopas, tostados etc and you can even get a Mamay shake! They used to give you free chips and salsa but now they charge for it, oh well.

You are literally transported to Puebla Mexico. Congenial waitresses serve up authentic home style dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices are unbeatable, seating is akin to coffee shop dining. Delicious sauces seal the deal. It is a real find with integrity and heart.
