I don't wanna brag.... but I was into Flatbuffers before they were cool.
Granted.. I was really only talking about them for Game developers...

And Granted... there wasn't really a Java implementation back then...

But still! This old video gives a good high-level overview of how the Flatbuffers system works, and how you can use them in your apps
