Ok, up today at 5:15am and making coffee while installing Sheets on my phone. Tim is still in beauty sleep but I'm taking him to the clubhouse at 5:50 then I plan on being the only sole in the gym for an hour.

Wonderful story of how a community, no matter how virtual is might be can still support each other. Great reaction and thank you for sharing this with the rest of us.

In advance of Nelson Mandela’s funeral service on Sunday in Qunu, South Africa, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Reverend Mpho Tutu, the first female Irish president, Mary Robinson, and Sir Richard Branson will come together for a digital eulogy using Google+ Hangouts.

The conversation will be hosted by Peace Jam and The Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory, and moderated by CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

Share your questions for the participants with #MandelaTribute . Tune in here tomorrow morning to celebrate the life of an individual who changed the world.

Today being Father's Day I got a moment before heading out to drive to Austria to relax. Fresh eggs came from friends and were a nice topping as well.

We've talked a lot about finding a good work/life balance, and a lot of us find it pretty difficult. Developer/designer Pam Selle disagrees, saying that as long as you remember a few key things, it should be pretty easy to stop working at the end of the day and get back to your life.

Social is less about automation like SEO was in the past. Get your people ready!

Organised like a Disney Park! Everything you need for a great visit to this must see spot in north central Florida will be told to you when you arrive EXCEPT what's in this report. I'll keep it short. I read 100+ 4square, TA, Google tips and still felt a bit lost heading out to the springs this morning. Just do this and your day will be wonderful. Some is in other's tips here as well. Head directly to the NORTH entrance. Trust your GPS, it'll get you there and then the brown signs will do the rest. There are plenty of tube rental places. All the same service and these are LUXURY tubes too. None of that black inner tube stuff here. We're talking headrests, double seaters, those with bottoms to keep you away from the "elements". You will want to do the whole run. It will take 3 to 4 hours depending on the water depth. We did a full 4 hours without any stops but worth every bit. This takes you from the north drop in past the midway point to the southern pickup. If you really have less time, drop in midway and head south. As said, you will drive the whole gang including tubes tied professionally to the roof of your car to the north entrance. You will pay $5 per person, the driver gets a stamp on their hand. You will drop off everyone and they will lather up with sunscreen and then put everything in the car. There are no coolers, bottles etc on the river and this is a good thing. It is pristine. The driver will then drive to the southern entrance (instructions will be given again) leaving the rest for a 30 minute wait. They should head into the pool right there at the drop to get an early swim. The driver will then park at the southern entrance and jump into a white van and brought back to the rest of your gang. You can always leave your car keys at the concession stand ($2) at the southern parking lot "say cheese" to be collected later. Rejoin the group and walk the few yards to the spring. Turn off the busy life and just relax. The next few hours will be just perfect. We had 4x 14 year old boys used to iPods etc and they never complained. We saw plenty of turtle, herons, loads of fish and a small manatee as well. But mostly we saw the peace and quiet of nature. You can't miss the signs to get out at the bottom of the run and you can drop your rented tubes or take them with you onto the little tram which then takes you 5 minutes to the southern parking lot. That's it. Concessions are nice, if you have brought some food with you (there is very little near to shop at) then have a picnic. You can take the tram back to the midway for another run if you're into it. Otherwise, drive back north and take a dip into the "Blue Hole Lagoon". 40 feet depth into the cavern you may not make but it is a great ending to your visit to Ichetucknee Springs.
