Author Interview: Welcome Julie Mulhern , I am so happy to have you at Fiction Obsession!

1.Tell us a little about yourself?

Perhaps something not many people know? I love coffee, chocolate, and Stiegl Radler (trust me, try it). I’ve reached the age where my arms move in a stiff wind and most days I don’t care. I’d rather walk five miles than run one. I hate drama, snakes, and clogged gutters. I stop talking mid-sentence because my brain is following a bright, shiny idea.

My Review Of

My Review Of
Indexing by Seanan McGuire

Fairy-tales are real  folks, yes they are real and the ATI Management Bureau is tasked with preventing them to become full blown. Henry aka Snow White is the leader of the team that prevents these fairy-tales called  memetic incursions, from developing into a full blown story which would be catastrophic in an Urban area.  This tale was told almost like a collection of short stories but at the same time had a general plot going on.

Carole @ Carole’s Random Life In Books has created a fun new feature called Books from the Backlog to spotlight neglected and unloved books that have been sitting on your bookshelf for too long.

This book has been on my Kindle since 2011. Now I know why I chose it but I cannot for the life of me understand why I have not read this one yet. I love a good detective series, books set in the south and a good sounding mystery. This book checks off all of my boxes.

My Review Of
LOWCOUNTRY BOOKSHOP A Liz Talbot Mystery by Susan M. Boyer

This book is a series but may be read as a standalone. I am a mystery addict so I was so excited to start reading this recent addition to the series. Liz Talbot and her husband run a detective agency along with the help of her best friend who just happens to have died many years ago and is now a ghost! The subject of domestic violence is a main topic in this story, the author did a respectable job of writing about it.
