An even better article on Alex Meyer. What an inspiration: “There’s something beautiful about man at his absolute breaking point. It hurts and it hurts and you keep pushing. Your body says no but your mind says yes.” He added, “It’s like a feeling of euphoria.”

The Garden is thinking about adding at Google +1 button to our website. Have any other non-profits out there done this? Any businesses? Have any comments to share?

+John Duke Google's already done it. I've seen it on one website and I thought it looked great. When you search via Google if your friens have +1 the page you are searching for you'll see it in the results. Personally, I think that is a huge advantage for SEO. Here's more:

One of my favorite annual events at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is Goblins & Gourds, Sunday, Oct 23, from 1-4 p.m. Here's a movie I made from last year's event featuring a parade by the Indigenous Gourd Orchestra.
