Story
Introduction
Studied and worked at Surrey University for many years. Now retired.  A common expression but "Never know how I found the time to go to work".  Much more time to enjoy going out with our dog Dillon.

This is Iping common car park. Go check the Ordnance Survey maps to confirm it is called Iping Common and it is managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust. Good place to go for a wildlife walk - but watch out for adders in the summer if you have dogs with you. Woolbeding is a few miles north east of here and I don't believe it has a common - just a lovely National Trust house and riverside parkland for some lovely walks. You can't park at the house and NT provide a park and ride from Midhurst town when the house is open - see their website. There is also a newly opened Woolbeding Parkland car park just off the A272 where you can start a nice circular walk to include the house and gardens - again see NT website for details. Both places rate at least 4*.

Another update 2015 - Should have come back and updated this review earlier. Emma and her partner James now have the tenancy. Open EVERY day for drinks (inc Sunday eve and Monday unlike most pubs in this area) - and most days there is an offering of pub food. No longer a Gastro Pub but reverted to a good pub for a drink after a walk. Go to their website and you can download maps of local walks. Well behaved dogs welcome as well.

A friendly bunch run this society that organise monthly talks on a wide range of aviation subjects and donate the proceeds of their raffles to local charities like the Bognor Air Scouts and the Sussex Air Ambulance.

Brilliant and very helpful branch without going over the top with "have a nice day" every time. Just a note - the bank closes at 16:30 Monday to Friday and not 17:00 as google info box states. It is also open on Saturday morning until about 12:00.

Great little shop with some interesting and unusual books. Friendly and helpful staff. Obviously not the biggest bookshop in West Sussex but well worth a visit. Did quite a bit of my Christmas gift shopping there last Christmas.
