Happy Veteran's Day!
The bonds formed by dogs and their handlers while on deployment don't waver just because they are separated when the tour is over. See the incredible efforts these military veterans have gone through to reunite with the dogs that meant so much to them.

Listen On Demand to Canine Master Radio - All About Service Dogs!
In this episode I cover the service dog industry to try to better understand the process, and the role these dogs play in the lives of those who depend on them. Also, a very hot topic in today's news: The faking of service dogs…Who does it hurt when you pass your pet off as a service dog when it' isn't? Are people taking advantage of the lack of regulations in the industry in order to get their dogs easily onto airplanes and into restaurants? Join me and my guest Gina Kaiser of Paws With a Cause at

There is no greater love, suggests photographer Nancy LeVine, than the love between elderly dogs and those who care for them.

REMEMBERING 9/11
Today marks the 14th anniversary of one of America’s greatest tragedies. September 11, 2001 is a day that we can never forget. It is important for all of us to remember and honor the men and women who lost their lives, and the men and women who stepped in to help. In doing such, we should also remember the heroic search and rescue dogs who, along with their handlers, risked their lives to help save the victims of these horrific attacks. Hundreds of search and rescue dogs were deployed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to help find survivors at both the World Trade Center and Pentagon sites.
