Many campers wait until Memorial Day Weekend to unleash their inner camper but we have it on good authority that the veterans plan their getaways a few weeks earlier. Why? Because we're offering a FREE night to anyone who wants to Come Camp & Care with us on May 9th & 10th!

Eddie, the local bald eagle, often soars overhead here, and that's just one of the unexpected delights at this new KOA tucked in the Piney Woods region of East Texas.

I was lucky enough to be the Day of Coordinator for a wedding there. Let me say this, the staff constantly asks if you need anything. If you do ask, they deliver! They assisted me with all hands on deck moving chairs to the brides desired location for her ceremony. It was perfect! Glen and all his staff, plus security were top notch in my book. If you are looking for a smaller, affordable venue on the lake, this is a must see. There was no hesitation at all from using wall covers, and making it exactly as the bride envisioned. I'll definitely be referring my brides to the KOA.

Great camp ground, good fishing and good amenities. Only complaint is being next to the main road.

Great place, very clean, quiet and friendly staff. Just wish the pull through pads were a little wider. I will stay again and look forward to my next visit.

Very clean facilities. Nice campsites, showers, playground, and swimming area. But, I consider this camping for "city folk". Even though you have plenty of space per campsite; they are crowded together.

Nothing negative to say about this place! Friendly and helpful staff at check in. The park was very well maintained and impeccably clean. Nice, level, roomy concrete pad. Fishing was good and we enjoyed their pool. Clean restrooms and showers. Looking forward to another visit! Fire
