Irony. Barely get into the article "50 years of Women in Space" when I am accosted by a banner of ads where 3 out of 4 are of scantily clad women. What gives?

Wandered upon this place tonight after dinner. They make truffles from single origin sourced chocolate. The chocolates are fairly good and nice portions. The first few slips of the liquid chocolate were sublime, however after that it felt a little too sweet. I had the house blend as the chocolate base with rice milk (so my daughter who is allergic to milk could enjoy). Next time I'll try a dark variety with almond milk.

Dense moist flavorful cake. Creative frosting filling flavors and icings...with the right amount of sweetness. Compared to Kara's and Sprinkles, Sibby does a great job of putting a more modest amount of frosting on top...so it's perfectly sweet. (With the others I end up discarding a good amount of the frosting. Among the flavors I tried y'day, I loved: Grapefruit Cupcake with Passion Fruit filling, Dulce de Leche & Snickerdoodle.

I had really high hopes for the Kabuki, but ultimately it was just ok. My massage was good, but pricey. The facial was probably better than the massage but again really pricey given the alternatives. Was excited about the baths, but turned out that it wasn't that big of a deal. Drove all the way up to the city for a spa day here and I realized Watercourse Way down the street may have been better and more convenient. They don't have private changing rooms. They have a schedule for mixed sex versus female vs male which make booking things a bit tough. I don't remember there being nice, relaxing music playing throughout the spa. Parking was annoying (probably easy now that i have done it once, but i ended up parking far...walking a ton and being 10 mins late to my massage). I also didn't really like that you had to be sooo quiet. I know people go there for peace and relaxation, but many folks were there with someone else and it's kind of nice to be able to chat with your company just a little bit. Overall it was relaxing but expensive and with so many other options I don't think I will be going back.

Awesome fresh vibrant food. Love it. Highly recommend it. Am a vegetarian and I generally found little option and accommodation with Vietnamese food so was very excited to find this place. Try it out, you'll likely not be disappointed!

Kept on missing their food truck service in the Sunnyvale area...finally was up in San Mateo and was able to dine at their restaurant. Creative menu, fairly fun, tasty and spicy with fast service (though we arrived before the lunch rush).

Just took a group of 9 to the Spa and on the whole we had a really great time. Everyone generally enjoyed their treatments. A couple folks did mention they wished their massages had a little more pressure. The decor is nice, not Watercourse Way nice, but elegant and relaxing with low lighting, candles and relaxing spa music playing through out. Very clean rooms, linens, showers and waiting rooms. They provided us a guest suite with a nice trader joe's spread of muffins, toffee, truffles and lots of fruit and a couple pastries along with juice, spa water and teas. We got an hour to relax and chat before our treatments began. My prenatal massage was done by Nisha. She was great. She applied the perfect amount of pressure and really succeeded at totally relaxing me. She was good to ask several times in the beginning whether the pressure was ok. I recommend Nisha! I followed the 50 mins massage with an hour signature facial. The person who did the facial was friendly but was fairly quick to recommend the product line without much discussion. In hindsight I wonder whether the line she recommended was optimal given I would have been most interested in as natural a product line as possible. She used YonKa which i hear is an excellent line and very expensive. Epicuren was another option and one i believe is more natural. My skin felt and looked great so on balance I was alright with the choice. She also massaged my hands and feet and did a mild scalp massage. Her touch was a bit too gentle and I would have preferred a stronger rub down on both my hands and feet. She did do extractions and was fairly gentle about it. By this point the only thing that would have made the experience perfect was a bed to nap for an hour or so! They had pretty well succeeded in totally relaxing me. Finally the customer service at the front desk, over the phone and with everyone we met along the way was very professional, courteous and friendly. Other details: very nice location...our group grabbed a nice lunch afterwards and we had a ton of options. We even thought about wine tasting. Their have their own parking lot in the back which makes things very convenient. So the bottom line questions: Will I go back: probably, but not soon. It's expensive and most folks in our party who had also been to Watercourse Way said their services were just as good and their prices a little bit more competitive. If I had to take a group again, I would probably book this place again in a heartbeat.
