You may not feel stuck this second but chances are last week you were and in a matter of days, maybe even hours, you will feel stuck again.

Why?

No matter how long you've been building your business or your online platform getting stuck is a part of the gig... I edited down one of my Periscope videos to the core message of why I think you and I get stuck. See if you agree and perhaps can get the insight you need to get unstuck immediately!

Last week ya'll some of my pictures from New York. I was there because I was given an incredible opportunity to moderate a panel of wildly successful social media pros. It was a huge moment to connect with influencers and it also was a great panel for me to learn more about how I can grow in building my business.

Anyways, here is a copy of the panel I moderated. It was a lot of fun and I made some great connections. Take a watch if you're curious about how social media, live streaming like Periscope in particular, can be monetized for business.

There's no point in lying. There are people online who I see and pass judgement on. I'll think to myself, "how they heck did they get that opportunity and I haven't gotten an opportunity like that?"

Something tells me that I'm not alone, either.

For some reason we have wired ourselves to compare what we know to be true about ourselves with what we see from others. It's not healthy and it's not helpful, but it's so hard to break away from.

If you look at your success and find yourself comparing it to the success of others - this one's for you...

Freelancing. It's a lot of fun but you deal with a lot of balancing that you never had to deal with in a full time job. How do you really turn freelancing into success and what should you be thinking about as you take on a few projects here and a few projects there?

Listen to two conversations from two people who know the freelance game: Emily Carlton and myself. Listening to the experiences of others will be one of the best ways to set yourself up for an amazing freelancing experience.

Going pro is exciting. It's also incredibly scary and the more people you have depending on you the more pressure you feel. So what does it look like to go pro 90 days into the adventure?

This conversation is all about what to do as you decide to turn pro and then what life looks like after the jump. It's insightful and challenging and should give you some things to think about as you consider leaving that 9-5 for your dream job!

Peeling off a band aid is often painful, but it's for the better. One of the reasons I peeled off the band aid of associating everything business with my Google Plus Profile was because I couldn't schedule posts out... thus leaving Google Plus neglected at sometimes when it should not have been.

Peel it off... it will feel better in the long run.
