I discovered the Travel Restaurant over a year ago, and have had lunch there several times since. Many of my friends also go there now, and bring their friends. The food is excellent, freshly cooked, with care and skill, and very creatively presented. The seating is very comfortable and the decor, including the small tropical fish swimming in the aquarium, is attractive and restful. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent little venue that could easily be missed in Dun Laoghaire (it's across the road from the DART Station) Lovely food and lovely staff, will be back many times I'm sure We had a starter and main from the early bird menu last night and both my wife to be and I loved what we got. Food is very well presented and staff are lovely and attentive. We had our baby with us as well and there was ample room for him and everything that comes with him. Well worth a visit and as good if not better than anywhere else nearby.

The Travel Cafe is one of Dun Laoghaire's best kept secrets - even though it has recently been voted No.3 out of 45 restaurants in the area. Over the past 2 months I have been there twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Each time, every single person in my party was absolutely delighted with the experience. The food is delicious (I personally recommend the unique Sicilian Chicken or the stone baked house pizza) and its presentation and accompaniment is full of creative surprises e.g. the amazing olive pate with the smoked salmon starter or the home made ice cream. The decor is bright, attractive and surprise, surprise, very creative as is the music and the general ambiance. Carmen and the staff are consistently warm, welcoming, discrete and they remember that you have been there before. To top it all, the Travel Cafe offers excellent value for money - three of us had a delicious 3-course meal including a bottle of very fine wine for just over €90. It really is worth every single one of the five stars. I recommend that you check it out before the secret gets blown and it becomes impossible to get a booking.

The food here is simply amazing. Always beautifully presented and with attention to detail. I've eaten here many times since it opened - never disappointed.

Went here with a few friends from work yesterday evening. I had the mushroom and coconut soup it was the nicest soup I have tasted in a long time. I had the beef as my main course and that was equally as nice. The service is fantastic will defintely be back.

Bistro le Monde is very easily missed but is located right beside the Dart station in Dun Laoghaire. I work quite nearby and always make an effort to pop in and support the restaurant and its lovely owner Carmen. The food is excellent, with similarly excellent prices to go along with it. I'm a big fan of their pizzas but can provide glowing reviews of their Sicilian Chicken. I highly recommend you try this restaurant, I think you'll be pleased.
