Great food. Ordered the babaganoush and the muhamurra (excuse the spelling mistakes). It was absolutely delicious--fresh and tasty. I ordered for take out and the service was great.

We had a very enjoyable lunch. My daughter is home from college and she met me at work to go out for lunch. The Kafte was very flavorful, salad fresh and service good. I like the casual "cafe" atmosphere. I look forward to going back after work sometime to try their happy hour and dinner.

This establishment is a gun free zone. “Every gun should be melted down and make a musical instrument out of it,” Sedat Uysal, who owns Café Paloma in Pioneer Square, said. Uysal plans to keep people who own guns out of his store. “They should take their guns to shooting ranges instead of public places,” he added.

Good food and nice people. I had a real fine lamb burger, and the green salad was one of the best I had since I moved to the U.S. 2 years ago. Five stars without any doubt. The only thing I didn't like was the French fries that were a bit too crispy.

Went in for lunch, wasn't crowded, waited 40 mins for 4 entrees. Food never came; waitress never once came by. Ended up eating Jimmy Johns across the street.

After taking the "Underground Tour" of old Seattle (highly recommended!), my hubby and I wanted a nice lunch. Mediterranean food is a favorite of ours so we chose Cafe Paloma and were not disappointed. The place is small and charming, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The menu is small with many vegetarian options. I had the Falafel salad (delicious!) and my husband had the lamb pita. I think we both pictured "gyro" but of course that's not what the menu said. The meal was actually a mixture of lamb, tomatoes and onions in sauce, with pita slices, taziki sauce and salad. Although not what we expected it was good (the lamb could have been a bit more tender and the portion size was rather small). For dessert we tried the baklava, which was light and flaky - the best I've ever had. Only reason I wouldn't give it five stars is the small menu, the smallish portion sizes (good for a light lunch, not good if you are really hungry or have a meat lover in the group). And the water on the table had a bug or something stuck to the inside of the bottle. But the waitress brought us iced water without us asking.

Came in after the lunch rush for a quick bite and to dry off after a big rainstorm. Very friendly, prompt service and tasty food, with enough vegetarian options for me to make a choice (and not just have to default to something). Would happily come here again.
