Mellow Mushroom is one of the best chain pizza places. The Clemson location is no exception. Friendly staff with great service.

Will never go back. Have been disappointed so many times with poor quality food and service, all with a high price tag. Several times tried to get take out and they will never answer the phone. Worst MM I have ever been to.

You need this. You deserve this. You wake up everyday, yearning for something more. Your body, your mind, they both tell you that you need more, you deserve more. Once in your life, long ago, when you were around her, you got that fuzzy feeling... deep down. Now, it's nothing more than routine. In the evening, you ask, "Honey, tonight?" Once again, negatory. You feel empty inside, depression sweeping over you. Is this how you feel with your pizza? Get aroused with Mellow Mushroom.

Mellow Mushroom as a chain is excellent. This location though seems to suffer. The pizza doesn't taste the same, not as much care goes into service. The place is an old house so it has a dilapidated look about it from the moment you enter. I'd recommend eating at Columbo's or a Pizza Hut if you want pizza in Clemson. Otherwise, you could try the one in downtown Anderson, the House Special is excellent.

Mellow Mushroom as a chain is awesome! The Mellow Mushroom in Clemson is pretty pathetic. Twice in one week we went and were turned away because they had run out of mozzarella and could not serve customers, even if we didn't want mozzarella on our items. The service is generally very slow, and there are times when it's downright horrendous. Definitely a hit or miss kind of restaurant, and not worth it in a town filled with pizza pies!

Pizza here is amazing! Seriously the best in town! (And probably most expensive). They use fresh ingredients in their dough, sauce, and toppings and it really makes all the difference. The restaurant could be better located though; there are not many parking spots. The scenery is nice though. They offer a decent amount of outside seating on their porch and patio area. It's worth a trip here if you are in the mood for some delicious pizza pies.

We arrived at 10:45 on Saturday night, knowing that it's a good place for late night food and beer. We were greeted and given menus, then 3 minutes later told we would have to leave because the kitchen was closing. Waitress was nice, but apparently three 50-ish looking people and a 25 year old guy were not worth serving beer and pizza to. We've eaten at Mellow Mushroom restaurants all over the east. Loved all of them until this one.

One of the Best thin crust pizza we have found in the Clemson/Seneca SC area. College Atmosphere. Vegetarian Friendly. Salads are good too, including the Esperanza Dressing which is a standout.
