When it comes to defeating illegal restraints like zip ties, you may not always be in a position to break through the locking mechanism. For those times, using a piece of cordage to create a friction saw can make quick work of the restraints.

Ordinary cordage may not hold up under intense friction and that’s why we advocate keeping some ITS Kevlar® Escape Cordage handy. This 188 lb. test Kevlar® cordage is durable, heat resistant and easy to work with.
