Disappointed. Tomahawk was good but not worth the price. The wedge was terrible. Service was poor. There was a mouse running around the patio and the staff did nothing to detour the situation even though many patrons were upset. I was .never offered a refill on my tea. Stay away!

Had dinner at Ruth Chis in Harrah's New Orleans last night and I was completely disappointed. I have previously praised Ruth Chris in San Francisco where I had the best steak ever. The server was delightful but the steak was mediocre at best. The first steak (which was ordered at medium rare) had to be returned because it was overdone. The steak a 12 oz steak was replaced but lacked flavor. Again, I want to emphasize that the staff was exceptional , just not the food.

We were looking for a nice casual steakhouse and this placed delivered! The service was great, the steak was great, the shrimp was great, and the creme brûlée was amazing (hard to find a great tasting creme brûlée). I recommend this steakhouse to those looking for a great steak!

This review is for the truly fantastic Taste of Spain wine dinner we had last night. We were seated in a private room upstairs in round tables sort of like a wedding. We had four courses along with a wine paring with each course along with a great miked drink of Spanish Liquor with dessert. First we Kumato Tomato and herbed goat cheese salad pared with a nice fragrant white wine. Second course was Lobster Paella pared with with Celeste Tempranillo, had a medium body and not too overly heavy as to not over power the seafood. Third course was a wonderful glazed pork tenderloin with an unusual avocado salsa pared with the best wine of the night, Salmos red blend. Full bodied and fragrant. Everybody at our table loved it. Last was a great small Filet Mignon topped with pepper butter and prepared exactly as I requested, medium rare served with lyonnaise fingerling potatoes and green string beans with almonds. Accompanied by a Cabernet Sauvignon- quite good and would have been much more appreciated had it not been for the memorable Salmos served in the previous course. Don't forget dessert - a Tres Leches Cake with orange whipped cream and along side a solid chocolate cookie with what looked to be pistachio nuts.Served with a brandy and orange liqueor cocktail They gave a short explanation of each wine as they were served. The service was right on and each table was served in unison. All the food with the exception of the paella (over done) was really over the top. Everyone at our table looked to have had a good time, I know I did.

Came here to celebrate my dad's birthday and we were all sorely disappointed. The food was underwhelming, overpriced and service was lacking. To begin, the greens we were served in the mixed green salad had been clearly prepared in advance and then refrigerated bc they were wilted and sad. I felt like I was at a big box restaurant like Olive Garden - or what I assume people experience at those types of places, but with better ingredients. Arugula instead of iceberg and romaine. Yikes. The server didn't greet us for 10 minutes, and when he came to take our order, he interrupted us in between getting everyone's order to go talk to someone else and returned 5 minutes later to finish taking our order. We ordered a bottle of champagne as an aperitif, they brought the bottle and left it sitting there for 10 minutes without coming to uncork it or serve the bottle. I can go on and on about the lack of service, but I think you get the gist. As for the food, it was disappointing. I used to eat at Ruth's when I was in high school and enjoyed it very much. I think it's time to move on to a different steak house. Mr. Johns on St. Charles perhaps?
