The concepts keep coming out of the Geneva Auto Show this week, with Porsche unveiling a new one this morning – a fully electric sport crossover SUV adaptation of their not-yet-released Mission E.

The headline specs? Porsche claims that the car will have 600 horsepower, do 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds, go more than 500km/310 miles on a charge, and charge at a rate of 400km/250 miles in 15 minutes. Like many European announcements, though, these range numbers are based on the NEDC rating system, which is significantly more lenient than EPA numbers – the range would probably be something closer to 240-260 by EPA testing.

2019 Porsche Cayenne Enters a New Generation

Now in its 16th year of production, the 2018 Porsche Cayenne is one of the most successful models in Porsche brand history. The second generation Cayenne, which will continue to be available at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter through the 2018 model year, includes a wide range of models and powertrains.

With eight models to choose from including the Cayenne Platinum Edition and the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Platinum Edition that arrived for the 2017 model year as a value proposition, the Cayenne offers exceptional performance both on- and off-road.

Upon transitioning into the 2019 model year, the new third-generation Porsche Cayenne will launch in the U.S., sharing no mechanical parts with its predecessor. The new model introduces a suite of powertrains that are all turbocharged as well as a long list of technological upgrades first seen in the second-generation Panamera including the latest version of Porsche Communication Management.

Additionally, the new model will herald the launch of a new option: Porsche Surface Coated Brakes. This new brake technology implements an ultra-hard tungsten carbide layer that reduces brake dust by 90 percent while also improving performance over standard brakes.

The 2019 Porsche Cayenne Turbo took its place at the top of the model line at the 67th Frankfurt International Motor Show. The new model from the third generation Cayenne range is once again raising the bar for sporty performance in the segment. Its twin-turbo four-liter V8 engine delivers 550 hp. The combination of innovations including a three-chamber air suspension, staggered tire sizes as well as the new high-performance braking technology make the Cayenne a thrill to drive.

Harris Porsche is proud to announce the addition of the 2017 Macan base model, which completes the Macan model range. The standard equipment on this new Macan is very similar to the extensive standard equipment found on the Macan S. Also, all of the usual options of the Macan lineup are available for the base Macan with the following exceptions. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB), Side-blades painted in exterior color, window surround in Aluminum, and Mahogany Metallic paint.
The base Macan is powered by a 2.0 liter in-line 4-cylinder engine. This powerful and highly efficient turbo charged engine produces 252 hp and 273 lb.ft. torque. This power is transferred through Porsche’s 7-speed PDK transmission to an Active all-wheel drive system, with Porsche Traction Management (PTM). This gives the base Macan the high performance level associated with the Porsche name; 0 to 60 in 6.1 sec. (w/sport chrono) top speed 142mph and at the same time achieve an US EPA Fuel Economy combined rating of 22mpg.
Come in and test drive this new and exciting Macan. Presently we have a limited inventory, however, we are receiving new vehicles each week. With a starting MSRP of $47,500 it’s a great way to appreciate the unique Porsche driving experience, at a new low price point.
