Go team! This will roll out over the next week or so.

You can now make phone calls from Google Home. These are real phone calls - the other person doesn't have to have a Google Home to receive your call. :)

Perspective

This giant tabular iceberg made our ship seem tiny. But under the vast sky, even this iceberg looks tiny.

3 Gentoos

These are gentoo penguins, identifiable by their, orange beaks, orange feet, and brush tails. They're middle of the pack in terms of size in Antarctica - smaller than king and emperor penguins but bigger than the cute little Adélie penguins.

Contemplating the dive

It was hilarious to watch the king penguins waddle toward the water, touch it, run back, and then stare at the water until they built the nerve to try again. It's like they know how clumsy they are on land and badly want to go to the water where they're more graceful.

One in the crowd

These are king penguins, which are the second biggest after emperor penguins. The easiest way to tell them apart is that king penguins have the big orange ear patch and a deeper orange color on their chest.

Pals

One reason it's so much fun to photograph penguins is that it's so easy to anthropomorphize them. They behave like tiny clumsy humans on land. :) Very different story in the water!

Technology Enthusiast

This taxi driver in Hong Kong is the closest thing to a cyborg that I've ever met. He doesn't even have to open his eyes to drive.
