Went to Eastern State penitentiary and we were looking for a nearby place to eat. This place was recommended by one of the eastern state employees. Food was awesome. I had the ahi tuna cheesesteak and my wife had the schnitzel. Both were outstanding. Tons of beers available and service was very good. We live in south jersey and we may come back just to have lunch. Nearby table had the burgers and they looked good. Prices were reasonable also. Ps. Get the bourbon mayo and put it on the ahi tuna cheesesteak. Delicious

One of my favorite places in Fairmount! Their bottle section is obviously Belgian heavy but is very vast. My wife and I really love the mussels here and most specials and sandwiches have been very tasty. Sit outside and enjoy the weather if you can!

The largest selection of beers I have seen in one place. Food consists of breakfast stuff, mussels and burgers mostly. La Chouffe was great!

Great mussels, fries, bread, and cod. Ahi tuna cheesesteak wasn't for me, but friends liked it. Donuts were not good and caramel was burnt.

Some of their waiters/bartenders can be a little irate or rude, but this bar is a fantastic community spot. Their menu is designed around their large selection of European beers, and everything from the food to the beer delivery is extremely high quality. The fries and accompanied sauce are very savory and slightly spicy. The mussels are about two dozen, and come served with your choice of a variety of vegetable and seafood sides. The entrees are great, with a wide variety of ingredients being incorporated. On the beer front, this bar has more varieties of beer than you probably know about. There's a few beers from many western European countries, a few more than average from Germany, and many from Belgium. They also carry a great selection of American craft beers. Finally, their prices are fantastic. You can tell that they try to offer the lowest price possible per beer, and their delivery is absolutely fantastic. They will in 95% of cases use the glass recommended by the brewery and I've never received a bad pour. This is my favorite bar in my area, the only downside to it is that if it's pretty empty they'll close at 11, 11:30.

Great beer selection and typically a nice ambiance. The bar area is very classic and the outside seating is fantastic. The service is typically great, but there is a bartender or two who can be less than friendly.

Excellent pub with fair prices and pleasant food. Can get very crowded. Excellent for outdoor seating in nice weather.

I gave it a four because of thier mussles and thier fritches best around they way they make them in belgium . But i was dissapointed with thier burger i ordered a well done burger and the burger i got looked to me the cooked seared it on the top and didnt even bother to check if it was cooked inside i did eat some of it cause i was hungry and it was good but it was still very pink for me the server was nice and comped the burger but i was a bit worried about getting sick in the morning i was fine tho . its a good place if you can find parking if your driving or dont mind walking a few blocks . all in all a good place.
