I've been targeting the LCWR for good reason, but not with hate...  I think some important distinctions need to be made regarding my own attitude toward the LCWR.  I want to be honest about it too....

If you are here visiting this site, please take the time to read this mother's blog and stop and pray for her son, and for her and her family.  They need it.  Thanks.
None of us truly know how much time we have left. None of us are promised tomorrow. But from the look of things, I'm not sure how many more tomorrows God has in store for Ben. From what we can tell, this is Ben's eleventh hou...

It's All About Gratitude
This is a busy week in many American homes.  Whether poor or rich, most Americans take this week to prepare for that special secular, but secretly spiritual, holiday we call Thanksgiving Day.  Kids are off from school, turkeys are murdered by the million, c...

Here in our community, we've been following the wonderful presentation on TV, "Cosmos" and find ourselves always more in awe! When I listen to the little-box people argue that science must fit into their religious underst...

Rev. Cait Finnegan
Introduction
I'm a Catholic woman, ordained a priest in 1997, and consecrated a bishop in 2016 in the Celtic Christian Church, an independent Old Catholic Celtic Rite Church. I am 65 years old, married 35 years to my best friend, and the mother of a beautiful adult daughter.  My husband and I have been living in Christian community for several years.  I am now widowed, and still in community.

I have a few blogs on different subjects:

Approaching Iona contains sporadic reflections on living as a Celtic Christian today, within the Church Catholic.

At the End of the Day is a blog about what I think is important...at the end of the day.

Abuse By Nuns which is at http://abusedbynuns.wordpress.com/ contains reflections about exactly that--abuse by nuns.

Ancient Ghosts is a way to share some music and prayers. Always growing, that one is!
