Redemption at the 2016 Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run
For nearly 40 years, the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run has been the most iconic race of American ultrarunning. Its rugged and hot course, its humble origins from a crazy horse event made crazier by mountain man Gordy Ainsleigh when he ran it on foot...

A Glorious Day At The 2016 Boston Marathon (Thank You Hamstring)
Streak running can make you do stupid things. Once you have mentally decided you are going to try to do a race X amount of times, you often find yourself making questionable choices along the way. Not quite “streaking” bad choices (that’s when you go naked)...

Good Times at the Marin Ultra Challenge 50k, Lance Armstrong's First Ultra
Arriving at Rodeo Beach for the sold out Marin Ultra Challenge 50k on Saturday felt like entering the eye of a storm. For five days now, Mother Nature has pounded the rugged hills of the Marin Headlands, soaking the trails, wind-whipping branches to the gro...

Story
Tagline
Trail runner, tech exec, entrepreneur.
Introduction
I'm a technology entrepreneur who took up trail running and triathloning back in 2001 to get off the work treadmill and see a bit more of the outdoors. I also love to eat, so the exercise helps me justify those extra helpings. ;oP I'm always interested in learning more about trail running - please comment and link away!

Had a hard-to-get tire problem, and they took really good care of me. They found a pair of tires through amazing diligence, loaned me some tired while they were shipped, and even arranged to get me home. Great prices, amazing service. Highly recommended!

We've been bringing our cars here for years, and have always had great service. They even rotate for free, and have given free service for nails in our tires. Prices are always competitive, just allow for a few hours for them to do it right.

Cocktail genius Bryan Matulis has conjured some of the most creative cocktails that Redwood City has seen in years. Rum Old Fashion, the Big Easy...all amazing. Food is fantastic as well, well worth a drink or quick bites with a date. The new gold standard for #RWC!
