Working on my set for Friday night; Meg Duguid's Dance with me... This is a live mix, not quite as bouncy as the final set will be; but it's pretty.

You can get the mix from the blog.

Is listening to: DJ Earl's Ambient

Juke, Footwork with nice swing and real kick.
Plus lovely vocals.
There has been a massive explosion of Juke releases recently, and this is one of the best I've heard.

The new ADULT. album "The Way Things Fall" is really good. Much better than the last few ADULT. albums.

So many wonderful albums out right now!!

The Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald thing Borderlands is just exquisit, mind blowing, I keep replaying it. Pieter Nooten [from Clan Of Xymox] has new one called Haven. Svarte Greiner dropped Black Tie, which hilariously has the same titles as David Bowie's Black Tie White Noise album. Coyote Clean Up's 2 Hot 2 Wait is finally out [I swear I live on 100% Silk].

All of this in the last few days, spring indeed!

ps and Shit Robot dropped a single too.

"Better than the other, I can’t believe it’s not butter, but really they’re not identical: and the way to see that clearly might be to think about time.  In a Republican win, the victory of neoliberal economics and the privatization of the public sphere will be swift and ruthless, under the banner of freedom, with its expanded instruments of choice. “You’re fired!” expresses the fantasy of agency being sold by the right as the scene of the experience of democracy.  Everyone a sovereign!  In a Democratic win, the victory of neoliberal economics will be slower and more uneven.  Slow, uneven dissolution and development buy us more time to reroute, refunction, and rethink capitalist and politically affective social relations.  It gives us more time (and we have been using our time very well these last years) to build infrastructures for a new relationality."
