Great beer. Some of the best in cville. Also a neat atmosphere although it can get a little stuffy at times. Board games to play while you taste some awesome beer makes it even more fun. No food though, outside of food trucks here and there, so don't come too hungry.

Awesome beers. Great mix of styles. Not all of them are going to be "home runs" but they are making some of the most creative beers in Cville. Plus they're doing collaborations with punk bands of my youth! Can't go wrong there.

Outdoor seating is ample. Beer is just average; the black IPA emphasizes brute force bitterness, with not much flavor. The blueberry IPA is good, but there isn't a trace of blueberry flavor.

Wife and I started here on our first trip to c-ville. Cool spot, nice atmosphere inside and out on the big patio. We both got food off the food truck (which was awesome) she got the oregano beer which was very unique and really good and I had the killer kolsch which I really enjoyed. Good spot, definitely worth a stop

Large but simple tap room. Staff very nice, mixed results on the beers. IPAs were well done.

Champion Brewery might not be the oldest or the biggest brewery in Charlottesville but it's definitely one of the best. The owners are incredibly nice and love what they do. I would really recommend this to anyone who likes great microbrews.
