Dartmoor decided it was a tropical jungle today. Hot and very close with a fine mist which cleared, revealing a sunny Shire.... Jx

I've been messing about with this whole spooncarving with minimal tools thing for quite some time now. My latest experiments have been with carving a spoon without a hook knife, the technique is of Japanese origin, although the Japanese spoons are very simple and clean in their design, unlike my attempts. I wonder if any of you would give this technique a try and let us see what you come up with. The knife I used for this spoon is a MaChris Typhoon bushcraft knife in Niolox. All the best.... J
