With the waterfall can't you round the sides off a little to make the water less, blocky? Definitely think Podzol on the edges is a good idea!!

Job interview done. Had to do few typing tests & if I pass those (should find out tonight of Monday) I will be invited to a second stage interview next week.

On the car over the button of my trousers popped off. I spent the most important interview of my life with highly loose trousers.. Haha!

Nice. Haha. It can only get better.

I really hope things go well. A friend of mine was determined to get into the police and was absolutely made up when he did. We don't really get to see each other much now with work, family, and such like, but he's really happy in life.

I hope you find the same.

I like that the big wine glass is right at the front.

Imminently sensible.

Well, you can count me as one of the two. :-)

It's good to see you posting again, Mister Smith. I know the ballache with your account kind of took the wind out of your sails but you've got to know you have fans here who've missed you.

I completely agree about the definition of atheism. I just think that, as with any point of view, different people subscribe to atheism with varying degrees of fierceness. Some Christians don't merely believe and live their faith but have to be knobs about trying to influence legislation to make everyone else comply, even though that isn't part of the definition of Christian. In the same way some atheists do seem to subscribe to the non-belief in God as a matter of positive belief, and will try to rubbish everyone who disagrees, even though that isn't part of the definition of atheist. In both instances, I can understand how the casual observer could get the wrong idea. And in both cases, it's certain people who subscribe to those worldviews who both cause and perpetuate the misunderstanding.

As it happens, the Bible doesn't say the unicorn exists in the way that you suggest. The most ancient and authoritative text of the Old Testament that we have is the Greek, which mentions an animal it calls the "monokeros" (or "unicornus" in Latin). Both of these words simply mean "single horn". I don't think anyone can deny that animals with a single horn have existed in the past and continue to exist today. Most translations from the Greek into English render this word as rhinoceros, although I suppose it could also refer to some creature now extinct, (after all, we're talking about texts written nearly 3000 years ago).

As far as I'm aware, it's only one or two mediaeval English translations that use the word unicorn, which was most likely understood back then as "single horned animal". It's doubtful it would have been understood the way we think of today, as a fairytale, pretty, flying horse with a horn at a jaunty angle. Words change meaning, which is why no modern Bible translation talks about unicorns.

As for the situation in Syria, I just can't begin to comprehend. What is more worrying is the Putin stance and the possible implications. The whole business is scary.

Having spent the last 2 hours filling out questionnaires, security forms, credit check forms etc.. etc.. I have been accepted to an interview with Kent Police.

I've been on the recruitment list for about a year now to join the actual police force though sadly I'm still waiting for that to get anywhere. I have however applied for a position answering 999 calls, so fingers crossed!

Having a weird problem with my G+, seems to have wiped everything! I'll circle everyone back when I get a bit of time.

Firstly though, IOS7!  Having a developer account, this means I get access to the Beta versions. There are a few bugs with it, I'll list them below incase anyone else is using the Beta version too, they'll all be fixed before the official release though.

- Batter life is shockingly poor, 5-7 hours max with regular usage
- Non-Apple Chargers will not charge the device (for iPhone 5)
- Certain apps crash/do not load up, Instagram and G+ the main ones
- The entire system can be laggy/crash at times
- Siri is hit and miss, sometimes it works, sometimes it crashes
- iMessage/Facetime may not work for some
- Some apps will be misaligned and hang off the edge of the screen

Those are the main bugs I've come across. Other than those, the new IOS is absolutely beautiful! It's simple, elegant and has a sense of depth to it, despite the overall layout being flatter. The icons move as you tilt the phone using the Gyrometer which is absolutely amazing, albeit still not as smooth and polished as it could be.

#ios7    #apple   #iphone5
