Scientists may have picked up a few tips and tricks from the rattlesnake as they designed their undulating snake-like robots. They've looked at the real thing in order to create a robot capable of taking rapid and even sharp turns.

Introduction
Carnegie Mellon University is consistently top-ranked. It's a global research university recognized for its world-class arts and technology programs, collaboration across disciplines and innovative leadership in education.

The Office of Admission serves first-year and transfer applicants to Carnegie Mellon's six undergraduate colleges. If you're on campus, you can find us on the 1st floor of Warner Hall.

General Information
Our lobby in Warner Hall is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm EST.

We're normally available by phone at 412-268-2082, Monday-Thursday 8:30 am - 7:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm EST.
