Now is a great time to get out and enjoy the weather. Hope and I took a nice walk through the neighborhood last evening and saw a lot of other people doing the same. It's easy to get tempted to just start going without a thought for warming up. "I'm just taking a walk!" Well, walking IS exercise and it's a good idea to warm up before you do it to help avoid injury. The article below has some good warm-up stretching that you can do before a workout. You can also cut it down to a few things like the leg swings or fence steppers just to warm up the legs. Be safe out there.

At last!!! A break in the weather. Time to take advantage of it, get outside and move around for a bit. Go hiking, go running or just take a walk. Whatever you do, remember warm up before you start and do some cool-down stretches afterward.
