Join us in thanking our veterans and their families on 9/11 to celebrate their service to our nation. The family friendly day includes military displays, a 5k Walk/Run for Veterans, groundbreaking for the new Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame Museum, a 9/11 commemoration ceremony and a free picnic lunch. Our experienced Department Service Officers will be on-hand to provide benefits management and advice for free to all veterans regardless of Legion membership. https://www.indianalegion.org/legionday.html

The American Legion, Department of Indiana is hosting its first ever digitally interactive webcast meeting to go live at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18. This informative meeting is meant to communicate to both current and potential members on what our organization is doing and what we have to offer.

The Hoosier Legionnaire is referenced in the second article regarding an Indiana veteran and Legionnaire being credited as the first American to capture a German soldier in WWI.
