Best whiskey bar in Los Angeles. Great selection, bartenders that mix great drinks, and just a good vibe. Sunday-Thursday, the back bar is setup like a Japanese Whiskey Bar, which feels more exclusive and offers a higher level of service.

Cool atmosphere. Do not get the old fashion on tap.

Trendy downtown bar with a couple pool tables. It's probably going to be a bit crowded and filled with people who go to trendy bars downtown. Overpriced. None of this is abnormal. Upstairs, so a little easy to miss from the street.

Great whiskey selection from all over the world, they had some uncommon single malts from the Campbeltown region of Scotland as well!. Also tried the Rye based Manhattan which was yum!

Came for happy hour around 7:30 and enjoyed the happy hour menu, getting a Manhattan and a whiskey ginger. Evan Williams well whiskey could be better but for $5 I can really complain Fun environment and not too busy during the time we were there. I wish the drinks were a bit more varied and tasted better but again for the price it's a fun place to start the night

Went to this place on Saturday night. The only good thing I liked about this place was the music. Upon our arrival we sat at one of the reserved tables, there was nobody there besides an empty corona bottle and some empty cups. This is no bottle service of course, the waitress came by very rudely and said, this is a reserved table, this is why the sign is here, you can't sit here. Wtf! Why would you ever speak to a guess like that. She could have asked nicely for us to move. Then later we asked what do you need to do to reserve a table and she said just an open tab, wtf! Why couldn't she said that before instead of being such a B and recommend another empty table?! Which there was! Horrible customer service never coming back here again. Not worth the $12 dollar drinks either.

Seven Grand is aesthetically a beautiful bar. It seems like it would've been an old 'members-only' gentlemen's bar back in the day because of the decorations and the vibe of the place too. It's pretty spacious but when my friend's and I went on a Saturday night it was packed with little room to move. There's 2 pool tables in the center of the space and they have a patio where you can smoke cigars that they sell as well. The bar area is spacious, there is a lot of room to stand and order but it gets busy. Just a tip, don't rush the bartenders! I've seen people trying to rush them and they will take their time getting to you. Just be respectful and don't badger them, they are helping a few drunk people too so do them a favor and be patient. The bartenders are really cool and helpful, I'm not too familiar with whiskey but the man helping me was patient and gave me recommendations. They have a variety and many options of whiskey, their menu is extensive and informational so if you're a whiskey noob like me it won't be hard too find a drink. My experience was just okay, it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. It's a cool bar to bring your friends to but I wouldn't really spend my whole night there.

I'll be honest, I prefer going right when it opens because when it's packed, you can hardly walk through it, let alone get to the bar to get a drink. But I love the drinks and that I can get a flight of whisky. Yummy! The decor is fun as well.
