Anyone using this to do app? Seems to have a useful connection to Evernote and offers some interesting features.

OneNote now does handwriting and OCR. The former works well, the latter not so much. It failed to find any words on a text document I had photographed.

NASA Engineers Propose Combining A RAIL GUN And A Scramjet To CATAPULT SPACECRAFTS Into Orbit

http://www.popsci.com/technology/article/2010-11/nasa-engineers-propose-combining-rail-gun-and-scramjet-fire-spacecraft-orbit
In April, President Obama urged NASA to come up with, among other things, a less expensive method than conventional rocketry for launching spacecraft. By September, the agency's engineers floated a plan that would save millions of dollars in propellant, improve astronaut safety, and allow for more frequent flights. All it will take is two miles of train track, an airplane that can fly at 10 times the speed of sound, and a jolt of electricity big ...

This is my Great Uncle Arthur. I never had the pleasure of meeting or knowing him because he travelled to France in 1914 and never came home again. He was just 27. His remains lie in a wartime cemetery in north-east France. As we commemorate the centenary of the start of World War One let us remember Arthur and the nearly one million other British men and boys who also never came home again.

Welcome update makes the OneNote Clipper a whole lot more useful. Still frustrating not to be able to select an area below your screen area though.
Today, we're introducing OneNote Clipper 2.0—a major update to the OneNote Clipper that offers enhancements for capturing web content into OneNote, and enriching that content to make it more useful. Responding to some of the more popular requests from Clipper users, in this update we have added a redesigned user interface, a location picker, intelligence (for clipping just what you need, minus the clutter), and region clipping for Chrome.

Fireshot (a Firefox add-on) is the one capture selector I've seen that can grab below the screen.  It will scroll when you tell it to.  Unfortunately, can't find a free working copy for IE or Chrome.  SnagIt works, but I don't think they have a free version anymore.

Those of us still pining for Springpad might be interested in CardDesk, a 'visual organiser' for Evernote. it's browser-based and still in beta but looks to be potentially useful. Here's the link...
CardDesk is a web application that extends the functionality of Evernote to give you a visual organiser for your notes. With CardDesk your Evernote notes become "index cards" that can be layed out and arranged on any number of virtual desktops. Sign Up for the Beta ...

Potentially very useful iOS app.
iOS: With apps like Drafts and Launch Center Pro, automation on iOS has been possible for a while, but it's also been a very heady, complex experience. Workflow's a new app that makes automation a lot easier to understand.
