Albert Aimer is a local businessman who is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their home buying needs. Albert writes, "In 2005 I was introduced to a few of the greatest things in my life: My wife Christine, and my career as a loan officer. My wife is one of the most loving and compassionate people that exist on this planet. She is actively involved in the well being and rescue efforts towards neglected animals."

Albert started his career in 2012 working as a loan officer for HighTechLending. He is looking to work with buyers on reverse mortgages and can serve buyers in the entire Antelope Valley: Lancaster, Palmdale, Quartz Hill and beyond.

Actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise got inspired by Lancaster High School Students who started Operation All the Way Home with an effort to build wounded warrior Jerral Hancock a home in the Antelope Valley. So, Gary's bringing his band, the Lt. Dan Band to Lancaster, California on May 10th for a Lt. "AV Nice, the City of Palmdale, and local citizens are working together to raise funds to create a bronze statue of Palmdale’s first mayor, Larry Chimbole.  Chris Spicher, founder of AV Nice (a grassroots, loose-knit group which promotes all things nice in the Antelope Valley), has verbalized the statue concept for many years.  His idea is beginning to take shape...

"I found a basket of pears in my garage a few weeks ago that I had forgotten about. I had picked them from the orchard and was letting them ripen in the basket. By that time, most were over-ripe and I was dealing with a mess. It strikes me that – in life – many of us are left with a mess, not because we did the WRONG thing, but because we didn’t do ANYthing with what we DO have."
