Marketers are spending more in the digital space this quarter, according to an IgnitionOne report. With quarter-to-date paid search up 31% and digital display ads rising 27% compared with last year, transactions are poised to more than double. Revenue should rise 52%, leading to a predicted 5.5% revenue-per-click gain. IgnitionOne's Roger Barnette attributes the action to the rise of searching with mobile devices.
