There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but well worth it. The server was attentive and the facilities are clean. The atmosphere is friendly and promotes talking. This building is built over the water, which was unique. The food came in good portions and full of flavor.

For a chain restaurant it was OK. The location is very pleasant, right on the water. The service was marginal (slow and uninspired) and the decor equally tired. The food was well prepared, for what it was, and reasonably priced. The margaritas were near virgin with very little tequila. Honestly had the service been a bit better I would go back again. May be a really good Happy Hour haunt, You can't beat the location right on the bay downtown behind the convention center.

This place... man is it lame. Clam chowder was cold and had like 2 clams in it and the house salad was horrible... just not fresh and tasted like it came from a bag. oh... and the stuffed shrimp had msg on it. Beer was great though, very cold.

Service was decent on a full Saturday night, the waitress was nice and attentive since we were a party of 5 adults and 5 kids... The food was "okayish" nothing out of this world but kinda pricey... So I was expecting something more. WOULD NOT GO THERE AGAIN BY CHOICE....

My first time here, the wait staff was excellent. The first dish I ordered was too spicy for me and they asked if I'd like to order something else with no hesitation. The coconut shrimp was excellent, nice size portions! Would definitely go back again, so many things to try!

They have the best and freshest seafood in the area since they are so close to the beach. It's a casual affair as you will be getting your hands dirty eating crab and lobster. Lots of interesting wall posters and there's also a little gift shop.

Love Joe's Crab Shack. Have one in St. Louis but the crab legs are definitely not as fresh as they were here. Excellent!!

Read all good reviews with the mind of "results may vary". Each review is of personal experiences. With that said let's just rate the food. Food is meh at best. Cook your own food and get better results. This location only selling point is that; the location. Convention center fodder. Filled with business men/women grabbing a well deserved alcoholic beverage and sub par meals. Sheryl from accounting eagerly cracking down on crab legs all the while you're realizing it's comical that you'd rather be at home with a bag of popcorn watching your favorite series of that lady who was left in a bunker.
