I feel like I'm able to embrace both worlds. I'm an old fart, not old enough to have been riding at the time of this documentary, but I live in the modern motorcycling world. I have a Yamaha SR400 that, when I'm finished changing some things around, will resemble a BSA Gold Star. Of course, it's a "Gold Star" that has fuel injection, modern electronics, modern metallurgy and tolerances, etc., and should be faster than a Gold Star, though I might or might not want to ride it that fast. Still, I've owned about 11 bikes now and they have been all sorts: dual-sports, cruisers, motocrossers, and fast little two-stroke canyon thrill-machines. I like it all.
