#ICYMI...Check out this Solar Power World article about the Sullivan Solar Power system we're installing at Petco Park for the San Diego Padres. This solar project is larger than the other seven MLB.com stadiums with solar, combined!

The system will save the Padres more than $4 million on SDG&E bills, and utilizes 716 high-efficiency, 470-watt SunPower solar modules. Click below to learn more.

Check out this San Diego Reader story about the utilities, their unethical and backwards actions and the alternative we finally have, #CommunityChoice.

"Needless to say, the investor-owned utilities, with their sky-high rates, have fat profits. That’s because “they make money based on how much they spend on investment,” says San Diego lawyer Maria Severson. "Whenever utilities spend a bundle, the commission permits them to make money that bolsters profits. So, San Diego Gas & Electric is rewarded on the bottom line for building gas-fired plants when the world is moving toward wind-, #solar-, hydro-, and geothermal-based energy."

We are at the Cleantech San Diego breakfast event about SDG&E rates. Starting last week, November 1, SDG&E's High Usage Charge went into effect, charging residential customers consuming the most electricity a very high amount for their energy.

Switch to a Sullivan Solar Power #battery system to control your energy and increase #solar savings. Learn more at www.sullivansolarpower.com.

Our electricians are featured in this The San Diego Union-Tribune story about the U.S. trade officials' recommendation regarding solar panels.
Two companies who declared bankruptcy, Suniva, a Chinese-owned manufacturer, and Solar World, a German company, asked to increase the cost of imported solar cells and solar panels to make themselves more competitive.
If the proposal is accept, this would increase the cost of solar. The recommendations now move on to President Donald Trump, who has until mid-January to accept or reject the remedies or come up with his own.
To make the switch to solar while it's certain you won't pay an added cost for panels, check out www.sullivansolarpower.com.
