Marks, established in 2003, was built into a historic, turn-of-the-century home nestled into a quaint business district in Omaha’s historic Dundee main-street neighborhood that has thrived since the early 1900’s.

Mark is “a neighborhood place with old-house charm,  great food, a focused yet extensive wine list, exquisitely landscaped patio dining, and where people can come to spend an afternoon, an evening, or just drop in for a good meal or glass of wine.”

An excellent experience every time we dine there. Will probably be back again tonight. There really isn't anything bad on the menu in my opinion. And if you like deserts which I typically don't, you'll really love the banana foster or creme brule (sp) They are of course known for their macaroni and cheese which i've had a handful of times and loved. I love any of their beef items as well as their brussel sprouts. Sat outside last time there and it was absolutely gorgeous. Ambience is top knotch and service matches on nearly every visit.

butternut squash ravioli...but (and i can't believe i'm saying this because i'm a huge fan of aubergine) skip the eggplant caponata. it's far too sweet with this dish.

Great food, great service and loved the atmosphere. Ask for two things, Joel and the mac and cheese!

Where do I even begin? Having my wedding at Mark's was like a dream come true! Mark was AMAZING to work with and we had so much fun planning the wedding. Classy & elegant atmosphere coupled with the most delicious food & beverages. I could go on & is difficult for me to articulate just how wonderful everything was. This is truly one of the most special places in Omaha but the PEOPLE are what really stand out. They take so much pride in what they do. It is now three days later and I still can't stop smiling. Such a JOY, we will never forget how beautiful the day was. We can not thank Mark's Bistro enough! ♥♥♥

Marks has always been a top choice for a nice sit down atmosphere. They have a beautiful patio area available for outside dining. The menu is excellent. I particularly enjoy their macaroni and cheese. Service is always excellent.

On 6/10/10 my husband and I (out of towners) met a local couple at Marks for dinner. We were all surprised by the quality of the service and the food. The dishes are complex and delicious and the presentation was first rate. This restaurant is comparable to what we would find at a high-end restaurant in Denver, CO, or Las Vegas! Well done!

Omaha doesn't really have a lot of "hidden" treats but Marks was an incredible find. Excellent menu and cozy outdoor dining made for a really nice evening. The bruschetta was a great start but the chicken lasagna was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a great date night with the spouse or initmate gathering with some close friends I highly recommend Marks. (I didn't try a desert with the Creamery Ice Cream store across the street but the few I saw come out looked delicious.)
