Declining birth rates could have an impact on tertiary institutions such as polytechnics and universities in time to come. This is currently cushioned by policy measures such as the SkillFuture initiative which motivates Singaporeans upgrade their skills and knowledge. Beyond education, the effect of declining birth rates would be felt elsewhere and hence, proper policy planning would have to be put in placed to ensure the competitiveness of Singapore as a society.

Besides using school material, newspaper articles, songs, movie and drama are used to incite excitement. An improvement in the language doesn't come easy.
