The use of newcomers to be the face of the Islamic State......screams "state sponsored project". But we aren't talking the Islamic state. This is a new sunni state. Strategically tapping on the Islamic gullibility, to fight for nothing, so those who started this war, can benefit, as the future industrialists in New Sunnistan.

People are fallling for the Brookings line of propaganda, hook, line, and sinker!

Whats really weird about the Brookings "Apocalyptic" constructivist take on ISIS, is that it appears to diminish the fact that salafi Islam's pursuit of the sharia and hudud, is the real destructive force in the Middle East. Westerners seems to recognize something about the word "Apocalyptic" and it leads them to drag in Christianity into a co-attack on ISIS and Christians. That is a novel play on people's ignorance, but it is a complete fantasy in terms of what truly drives ISIS recruitment. The CALIPHATE is what governed Islam for most of its existence, and the drive to recruit young Muslims is simply, for them, a return to the true state of Islam. Young people are fulfilling the dormant expectations of their religion, not the end times. That is all there is to it. No one rushes to join a team just because it thinks the end times are happening. That doesn't even happen in Christianity. In fact, in Christianity the rapturists are a static and identifiable group that do not expand dramatically, as ISIS has done. So its not the Apocalyptic words in the propaganda that drive recruitment. Its the sharia and hudud.

most French nationals volunteering to fight in the so-called "jihad" in Syria are actually not originally from traditional Muslim families. Two-thirds of them have been raised in family circles that did not dispense any religious teaching with parents describing themselves as atheists, with 80 percent of them being French nationals for more than three generations. Only 20 percent of the "jihad candidates" were raised in traditionally Muslim families, most of them not attending Friday prayer services, while 80 percent of those indoctrinated are below the age of 21.
