The food was fantastic, and the server was great! He was very attentive--but not too attentive--and recommended a great wine. I would definitely go back there!

Armitage is a beautiful restaurant and has great service, but the food was horrible. I think this is a case of a wine country restaurant that is too interested in the wine and not in the food. I say the service was good because they were kind and attentive, but they shuffled a few different waiters by our table who forgot our drink orders. Nevertheless, they were kind about their mistakes. I ordered the "Armitage Fries w/ dipping sauces" which were really flash fried frozen Ore Ida's and a ketchup/BBQ sauce blend and thousand island dressing. It was boring and tasted like frozen food. For entree, I had the "Pork Tenderloin and Sweet Tomato Mash w/ Garlic Green Beans" and "3 Cheese Tortellinin in Roasted Tomato Pesto Sauce w/ Chicken". Both were basically disgusting. The pork was totally dry and tasteless, the mash was like baby food and it was lukewarm and the green beans were obviously frozen and steamed. The tortellini was a whole other story. The roasted tomato pesto sauce was a disgusting, runny, out of a jar pesto sauce sloppily thrown together with a basic marinara and paremesan. It was horrible. The chicken was all uniformly rectangular; a shape that chicken does not naturally come in. It tasted like nothing. It had no flavor whatsoever, not even that of the runny pesto sauce. It just felt like all of their food was either bought in, flash fried, or microwaved. Truly terrible food at this otherwise appealing looking restaurant in La Encantada.

My book club meets there once a month. We go on Monday since everything is 1/2 off. It makes it very affordable! Food, drinks, and service are wonderful!

Hit or miss, restaurants should always be a great experience, after all it's your money, they act like their doing us a favor,, no, it's the other way around, we're giving you business,, pretend you care...or soon you won't be there.

My wife and I love to sit on the patio, share an appetizer and work our way through the wines by the glass. Great place...highly recommended.

Horrible customer service, management, and disrespectful bartenders. Did not stay long enough to try the food or wine.
