Whoever said generous portions for tapas is lying. However, the uniqueness of the plates and the delicious explosion of flavors make this place worth every cent spent. Amazing cocktails, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere make this place a great spot to have a drink over an good conversation.

One of a kind. The food is just perfect for a casual evening with tastes that are unexpected and surprising. Great wine list and a mixologist who has come up with a list of must try drinks. It is great to find something different in Los Angeles and this fits that bill.

Delicious. Generous portions for Tapas. They grow their own herbs, salads and microgreens, as well as some vegetables hydroponically on rooftop towers. The burrata was as good as any I've had in Italy. Jeremy the bartender was extremely solicitous and knowledgeable. I would return. Well stocked bar.

Just go in expecting terrific food but below average service and you'll be fine. All the dishes are unique and the Mexican sundae desert is crazy good.

John Sedlar of Rivera continues to work his magic at his more casual Playa. Every bite offers a burst of imaginative and completely delightful flavor combinations that will shock and awe. Attentive, helpful service strikes just the right note. We sat at the communal tables, and there was plenty of elbow room. Highly recommend!
