Coloplast's Team Purple - Race for Life 2014 (4 photos)
Even the weather couldn’t dampen our enthusiasm. Coloplast’s Team Purple ran in a rainy Race for Life last night and the person we were honouring made great effort to be there and in fact was one of the loudest in the crowd cheering everyone on. Thank you Sam for the voice of support in the crowd!! You are an amazing lady.

It was a rather wet and miserable night but we stuck it out and all crossed the finishing line, albeit rather more bedraggled than when we started but finished none-the-less!

Thank you to all who have sponsored us so far. It is really appreciated. If anyone is willing to dig deep for such a great cause, we would appreciate it. It is not too late to sponsor the team at

Today is Bowel Independence Day - a day to raise awareness of bowel issues such as chronic constipation and faecal incontinence, and the need to improve access to treatments.

The cost of unplanned admissions for constipation is staggering. Nationally a massive £59 million was spent in the UK in 2012/13 on hospital admissions alone for a problem that could largely be preventable. Read more and show your support at http://my-bowel.co.uk/about-us/

This post is fantastic - over 300,000 likes to date and growing! Truly inspirational. As Vickie rightly points out, she wears her bag with pride. No ostomate should ever feel ashamed of their ostomy bag. A bag is a sign that the wearer has been through a very difficult medical condition. We are proud to help all our customers live life to the full.

Right I have been uploading holiday pics but held back on one! Why? I don't know because I thought people wouldn't approve! today I had a response and though F^*k you! I always bang on about 'support my cause' and 'raise awareness' so what better way than to bare all...so here it goes! I am almost a yr done and proud ! I have battled Crohns Colitis for the past 4 yrs and close family and friends will know how much this means. Here goes nothing eek! I wear my bag with pride — with Trisha Morris.
