You all know I have a new webcomic, right? Valley of the Silk Sky is a queer YA sci-fi story, and chapter 3 is about to start this very Wednesday. This link will take you to the Table of Contents, from which ye mought select a starting point.

This is the thing that's consuming my life right now, and I'm having a lot of fun with it, so go! Read! See what I've been up to!

I'm sorry I don't update here anymore. I was going to try to link my Twitter to cross-post here, but I can't figure out how to do it. Anyway, here's where I am on the internet:

Wednesdays are for comix! If you haven't already, please click on through to read my remastered-in-color Politically InQueerect strips. For the excitement, for the thrills.

Okay, G+, it's nice that you'll let me change my cover photo. But if you aren't going to let me use an image size of my choosing, you're going to have to tell me what size you've optimized for. I've tried 5 different images, your crop feature does not match your final display size, and I'm tired of guessing.

I've started publishing Politically InQueerect as a weekly webcomic over at Tapastic.

Initially this will consist of existing strips. Eventually, if all goes according to plan (and when does it not?), this will segue into brand-new content.

Today's offering is remastered to be in color and to be easier to read on ::cough:: modern HD screens - a lot of the older PIQue strips were optimized for CRT monitors and slower internet connection speeds, so I'm going back to the original scans and making bigger web versions.

I'm also playing around with coloring the B&W strips. I may or may not do the whole run, but I think with some of these it really makes a difference in readability. So check it out!

I am finally getting around to listing my old Camry for sale. Please observe this Craigstlist ad:

If you or someone you know wants a fixer-upper of a very solid model of car, send 'em my way.

Right now I'm working on a short story for an anthology. My story is about kids gender-swapping their toys, and specifically about this one kid who decided three of the G1 Transformers should be female. I did some character designs to find out what these Transformers would look like as girlbots, and kind of went overboard with it. You can see more of 'em, and read more about the artistic process, at this link:

An interview with me over at the Good Men Project, in which we discuss Transposes and comics and whatnot.
Dylan Edwards sheds light and humor on the personal lives of this tiny subset of a tiny minority, in his first graphic novel.

I was recently interviewed on KPFT Houston's Queer Voices program (go to the December 17th show; you'll find me right around the 53:28 mark). We chatted about Transposes in particular, and comics in general.
