Gotta Catch 'em All-The LilyPad Announcement and Scrapping with Liz
Even though I have been quiet, there has been a lot behind the scenes that happened in just the past week.  You know I love using Scrapping with Liz templates for hybrid projects and have found The LilyPad (TLP) a fun place to hang out. It reminds me of the...

Pet Me-Jillibean Soup and Maya Road

You Are My Purpose and creashens Announcement
Hope everyone in the US had a great 4th.  Ours was low-key, because well, the dogs don't like fireworks and we don't like to spend the money on them! And as a bonus, Carleen and I both didn't feel that great this weekend.  So old movies on the couch and som...

Here and Now-Hybrid Layout
I am just going to say it.  It's hard, so hard for me to blog right now. I know it will get better, but honestly, I am forcing myself to do this blog post.  Just to have some normalcy and some routine would be good for me I know.  We miss Higgins terribly, ...

I was going thru projects that I hadn't posted on the little old blog here and I realized that I never posted this layout I did for "a flair for buttons". Honestly, I am in tears right now while writing this post, but this happens every time lately when I find something that has to do with ...

This is a very large scrapbooking store with a wide selection of goodies to choose from. If you are looking for high quality scrapbooking products from tons of different manufacturers and NEW product, this is THE place in Southwest Missouri. This is NOT Hobby Lobby or Michael's, so if that is what you are expecting, you are going to get quite a shock and a nice surprise. Great place to hang out for the day, while your husband is at Bass Pro if you are traveling thru-very close to each other. There are occasional Sat. crops or classes, but call ahead, because those fill up quickly. If you are a fan of sketches, you need to check out their sketchbooks as they are very popular. Also, if you are a fan of two page layout those are in sketchbooks also. They are constantly coming up with new layout kits, sketches, etc., plus their online presences is huge hit on Two Peas in a Bucket. Look for the "Super Savers Sketch Club" thread on the General Scrapbooking board and you will see what I mean. They have recently added staff, which tells you just how busy they are! And you are always greeted when coming in the door. I love the fact that if I need help all I have to do is ask. They ask when you come in, but I am more of a look around and get help later person. And they let you LOOK without trying to talk you into purchasing this or that and following you around....LOVE that. Springfield is very lucky to have a store like this, especially when a lot of scrapbook stores are closing. If you are into scrapbooking you need to make a point to support the brick and mortar stores like this or they will not be around.
