One needs to get transnational to get out of the hole digged by nations to further the interest of rogue transnational companies.  I am not speaking of powerless and costly institutions like UN whose resolutions are worth less than toilet paper :
http://www.monde-diplomatique.fr/2009/02/A/16775 Snowden's declaration second part is strange nevertheless. Did he really violated any US law? Or the US propaganda is such powerful  that accusing him to do so just make it so. Scary.

I [Snowden] believe in the principle declared at Nuremberg in 1945: "Individuals have international duties which transcend the national obligations of obedience. Therefore individual citizens have the duty to violate domestic laws to prevent crimes against peace and humanity from occurring."

Snowden invokes the principle IV of the document
which  was created by the International Law Commission of the UN.
So  I should speak of UN anyway. Does this document apply to Snowden? Or was was this just shameless retroactive propaganda that was just tailored for Nuremberg.
Why the UN is silent about Snowden?
