The Antikythera Mechanism: http://bit.ly/fm4oFK is the oldest known scientific computer, built in Greece at around 100 BCE. Lost for 2000 years, it was recovered from a shipwreck in 1901. But not until a century later was its purpose understood: an astronomical clock that determines the positions of celestial bodies with extraordinary precision.

In 2010, we built a fully-functional replica out of Lego.

The store is nice. I have never bought from them. But, my Dad and I had to take in his watch in to be fixed. She asked us where the battery went and Dad explained it was a automatic wind-up watch. She told us to go to Sutherland's. Nice people, nice place, but they don't do old-school watches.

We had to take in an old school wind-up watch to be fixed. Fox jewelers couldn't help (asked us where the battery went). Sutherland's knew their stuff and have a wonderful quirky sense of humor.

It is a little pricey, but I think its one of the better oriental-style restaurants in town. The service is good, the people are pleasant, and it is easy to order for groups of people. The food isn't spicy as its tailored to Montanan tastes. Its good for college students needing to grab and go.
