True or False. When it’s check-out day I move as slowly as possible to savor every last minute of my camping experience.

How do you like your marshmallows? Warmed up a little, with a nice golden brown coating or fried to a crisp?

Many campers wait until Memorial Day Weekend to unleash their inner camper but we have it on good authority that the veterans plan their getaways a few weeks earlier. Why? Because we're offering a FREE night to anyone who wants to Come Camp & Care with us on May 9th & 10th!

Very clean and nice medium size campground with a small lake in the middle. Walking distance from the beach. On the A1A, it is very convenient for cycling from the campground. Wi-fi on the sites, but was slow and very often not available. Very close to St-Augustine; one of the nicest city in Florida.

This campground has no management to speak of. There are at least 20 dead trees three of which are the first thing you see when you drive in. This looks great for Halloween, but leaves you with a feeling of general disrepair. Some of the dead trees are large and will one day crash on top of an RV or kill someone. There's a bathtub ring around the inside of the pool which has several cracked tiles and patches on the bottom. The living trees are all filled with a strange parasitic moss that is killing them. Owners don't seem to care about them and without the trees, this place would be a concrete nightmare. The wiring is ancient, the cable service awful and the sewer often reeks. The management is obsessed with adding new cabins hoping to generate more revenue, I guess, while ignoring basic upkeep. To top all of this off, the rates have recently gone up.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We understand you are frustrated on a personal level with our management staff due to disagreements over your behavior in our park. After repeated attempts to find a solution that worked for all parties, we decided it was best to part ways and asked you to leave the premises. While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, we believe that much of your review contains false and misleading information. We absolutely welcome the opinions of all our guests in an effort to improve the campground but don't feel that retaliation is in the best interest of anyone. We do wish you safe travels and all the best.

We were there for this past Memorial Weekend and couldn't have had a nicer time. The spot was big (#80) and the staff was the friendliest. They had guys on the golf carts non stop - picking up trash, helping campers... The location was just right. Only a few minutes to downtown and literally about a mile from the beach. We will definitely come back and recommend to anyone!

It's a nicely manicured campground with a pond at the center. But I would not stay here as they do not have wifi (of course they do have wifi, but it is not functioning. 3 minutes to load one web page is not functioning) find this problem at most KOAs

I liked the ducks, but the sites were really small and we had just enough room to cook out. There were a couple of trees on our first lot that were dead and scary, thought they may fall on our trailer. Bathrooms were clean and otherwise the grounds were clean to. The doggie camp did not have water though. All in all its great for an overnighter, but not to stay a few days. The website pictures make it look better than it really is.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We do our best to provide an excellent camping experience for all of our guests and we often look to our campers to provide feedback that helps us improve. We'll take a look at the trees on your site to make sure they are safe. We'll also make sure the pet playground has enough water in the future. We wish you all the best and hope you come back to see us again.

The sites are small, sandy/dirty, the concrete pads are in bad disrepair. There very uneven so bring your leveling blocks This KOA is located in the middle of the city, which remove any natural aspect as it’s sandwiched in between a rundown strip mall and a old housing development. you will Camp on top of your neighbor with no privacy. The service staff at the front office seems indifferent or brusque. The bathroom facilities are not as clean as they should be and the site is littered with old junk trailers, boats and what not. AT $75 BUCKS A DAY IT’s WAY Overprice ……..I would not recommend this KOA to a friend or will not return to stay there again..

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We do our best to provide a camping experience that everyone can enjoy but there are always opportunities for improvement. We do appreciate you bringing the bathroom issues to our attention and we will pass along your concerns to our staff in an effort to make sure they are corrected as soon as possible.

Tent campers, this place is not for you. The sites are too small and will afford you no privacy. On Memorial Day Weekend, the tight quarters made sleeping worse because my neighbors did not observe the 10pm Quiet Time policy. In addition, I must have gotten the worst site (#10) in the campground, with no tree cover. Because it was so hot, I had no desire to spend any time during the day there. Fortunately, I had family nearby, so I would leave first thing in the morning and not return until night. The restroom and shower facilities are pretty gross. I am not terribly demanding and realize that if I wanted a hotel experience, I could have checked into any four- or five-star establishment on Beach Boulevard. However, the restrooms left much to be desired. I tried not think about my predicament and got in and out as fast as I could. On the other hand, my stay averaged under $50 a night after taxes. This included wifi on my site. A nice-to-have but then I didn't really spend my days surfing the web, right? It was useful for planning cycling routes every morning, and for checking email at night. For a better tent camping experience, I plan to book -- well in advance -- a site at Anastasia State Park, the next time I visit.

Probably the worst koa that I seen in my life. I'm the owner of a motorhome and I reserved for a supersite in order to get more quality......but oufff. The sites are small, dirty, the concrete pads are destroyed, and the site is in the middle of the city, which remove all natural aspect. I'll never go back again. Should not be a koa
