True or False. When it’s check-out day I move as slowly as possible to savor every last minute of my camping experience.

How do you like your marshmallows? Warmed up a little, with a nice golden brown coating or fried to a crisp?

Many campers wait until Memorial Day Weekend to unleash their inner camper but we have it on good authority that the veterans plan their getaways a few weeks earlier. Why? Because we're offering a FREE night to anyone who wants to Come Camp & Care with us on May 9th & 10th!

Seasonal campers, overnight guests and those who fall somewhere in between. How long does your usual camping trip last?

There is nothing like the taste of a delicious meal cooked over an open flame. What's your favorite camping food?

We stayed here for convenience because friends were living on Anastasia Island. It was a nice park for those wanting to be close to the beaches, St Augustine proper and still have a nice full hookups RV site with a lake view. Very pleasant atmosphere for families. Long pull thru sites but some leveling might be required on some of them.

Thank you so much for staying with us Budd! We really appreciate your detailed comments and will pass along your feedback regarding the campsites to see if we can improve for future guests. We wish you all the best.

This camp ground is located close to everything! That is the best thing about this place! It has a pool also, most camp grounds don't so that was cool. Has a lake for paddle boats and fishing. The paddle boats need some work though! The down side to this place is at night it's very bright with no privacy. The sewer hook next to us was horrible.. and our camp site had no shade.. over all the place is well maintained and the staff were very nice and friendly. I would stay here again as long as I don't get that site number!!

Thank you so much for staying with us Jason, and for taking the time to leave us a review. We've passed along your comments regarding the paddle boats and will make sure maintenance takes a look as soon as possible. We'll also have them look at the sewer hookup you mentioned. We do hope to see you again, and we'll be happy to let you try out another area of our beautiful campground.

Had a fantastic stay. It was very nice and clean and loved the little pond to find the ducks. As close to St. Augustine as you can get it was minutes away.

Just came back from this campground yesterday.... and it was an amazing experience...before coming here I only went to state parks and it was nice too but I'm personally not a big fan of spraying myself down with repellent everytime I finish a shower...so there not much mosquitos here at all Went ahead and decided to try it out...KOA not only were the customer service was 100% but the campground was very clean there was lights at night, so the bathroom was not an issue to use which im a chicken to even go out at night while camping....I was staying in a tent btw There's was AC in the bathrooms which I was very surprised and they were very clean.... I was also surprised on how everything was so close 15 mins max I drove to enjoy the historic museum and fort.... I highly recommend this campground it was an awesome experience and will be coming here again PS.. thanks to Maintance there were nice enouph to help me pull out the stakes from my tent because they were not coming out...

We spent the 4th of July weekend 2016 there. The only positive thing I can say is the staff is very friendly and the wildlife is nice. The campground is old and outdated. The pool needs to be demolished and a new one built. The tile is all cracked and moldy and they don't clean it daily. The biggest issue I had was power. The campground is underpowered so I was getting 100-103 volts to my trailer which was tripping my surge protector all day. I called three times and they never even came to campsite. They want to argue that its your problem ant not there's. 100 VOLTS IS A 100 VOLTS. Can't argue with that. The bathroom is very hot. No a/c or fan in there so it is a sauna. I would find a different rv park if I were you.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Jessica, and for staying with us during your recent visit to the St Augustine area. We do appreciate your feedback regarding our amenities, and we wanted to pass along that we do have our staff clean the pool area as well as the rest of the park on a daily basis. Over the July 4th weekend, when we are at full capacity, it can be more difficult to keep up with this and we will definitely try to improve. We'll also have our maintenance team double check your site to ensure the power is correct. We wish you all the best and safe travels during the remainder of the summer camping season.

It's a decent KOA, albeit a bit over priced. It's getting a little long in the tooth facilities wise, nothing has been changed or really updated in the past 5-6 years we've been coming. The new patio tables and chairs are a nice change to the old picnic tables. The electrical needs some work as we watch big voltage swings throughout the day and the 30 amp plug and out electric box looks like it had caught on fire in the past. As the park filled up, we saw lows of 104v which can be damaging. I notified maintenance and there was pretty much nothing they could do.

Very nice & friendly staff. We needed firewood late one night and the staff let us get some and pay in the morning. Quiet cabin on the lake in the heart of St. Augustine near all the local attractions. We had a great vacation here.
Response from the owner - a month ago
Thank you so much for staying with us Mike and Mandi, we are so glad to hear you had an amazing time and that we were able to help you with firewood after the store closed. We hope to see you again soon!
