Tasting Australia: Tens of thousands through the gates support decision to make it an annual food event
WHILE showers dampened the grounds at the Town Square for the last day of the Tasting Australia food festival on Sunday, the huge turnout over the eight-day food fest has clinched a valuable food deal for South Australia.

It’s success, which co-creative director Paul Henry said attracted tens of thousands of people to more than 200 events, also supported the organisers’ decision to stage it annually.

He and co-director Simon Bryant confirmed the celebration of local food is on the calender for April 30 to May 7 next year.

I use the G+ app on both my iPhone and my iPad. Both are set to auto-upload photos I take to G+. This is great. However, I've found, it's a cyclic thing. One uploads to G+, then G+ seems to download it to the other, then it uploads it to G+ too, and I get multiple copies of the same image in G+

The worst part is, if I try to delete one (or more, sometimes I get 3 copies), the post they're attached to gets deleted too.

I just lost three posts a lot of people had enjoyed, because I tried to delete some duplicate photos!

Help! How can I stop the multiple round about of uploads to prevent this?

Wondering where's the loo?
+Red Nomad has got you covered. :-)
Gone, but not forgotten!  This superb jetty next to the beach at Wool Bay on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula had its own temporary public loo (at left) when the real one was destroyed in a storm.  It's now been replaced by a permanent (but far more boring) structure - BUT this one had the BEST view!

A foodies guide to Adelaide's East End - "Dirty Apron"
Adelaide's east end precinct is blowing traditional food and wine approaches completely out of the water. A group of like-minded chefs, winemakers, café owners and producers have established complementary offerings nearly next-door to one another.

This film follows Africola Head Chef Duncan Welgemoed as he introduces us to his favourite restaurants, bars and cafes to eat and drink in his neighbourhood in Adelaide's east end.

After a quick look around Africola we are introduced to French café owner, Christoph Zauner of Hey Jupiter, a thriving café in Ebenezer Place.

From there the groups strolls down the lane to The Tasting Room at East End Cellars to drink wine with a group of Adelaide Hill's independent winemakers.

A foodies guide to Adelaide's East End - "Dirty Apron"
After a few glasses of red and a short trip back to Africola, it's off to Orana and Street to meet head Chef Jock Zonfrillo. Jock's focus on establishing a truly Australian cuisine and offering such a unique range of dishes has made Orana one of Australia’s must visit restaurants.

From Orana it is off to Asian-fusion focussed Golden Boy for a quick taster, before a party at The Botanic.
