Some interesting Horse and Musket stuff.

My name is Tom Dye. I am currently a civil servant assigned to Stuttgart, Germany, awaiting assignment back to the USA. I retired from the USAF on 1 Jan 92 after 20+ years. Since then, I closed Lowry AFB, worked at Stone Mountain Miniatures, started Attactix (a game store in Aurora, Co. with my best man at my wedding, Bill Winski in 1993 (Bill owned "Things for Thinkers" in Tucson, AZ for 13 years before this); Opened Game Figures Inc (GFI) in 1998 (North American manufacturer of Minifigs) until Aug 2011 when the economy finally caught up with us. During that time, for 4 years I worked as a consultant to Northrup-Grumman wwith the African Contingency Operations Training Assistance (ACOTA) program and during that time, made about 30 trips to many countries on that continent. I applied and recived an opportunity to work for the US Government again and it landed me here in Germany.  I have been married to very patient wife, Terry, for 33 years now and have been gaming since my uncle gave me a copy of the 1958 of Tactics II when I was 12. Being a plastic modeler, it was a logical leap to playing with Airfix soldiers and Minitanks with my friends. Ah, those were days of innocence and excitement of learning that we were not the only ones in 1967 to enjoy playing wargames with miniatures! Like many, I have written my own rules sets (even had one published: "Marshal's Baton" and I continue to refine ideas to this day.
